- Read the project website, docs, roadmap, and public announcements.
- Check whether the team is public, anonymous, or unverifiable.
- Look for real utility, active development, and realistic claims.
- Compare social activity with substance, not only follower counts.
Tokenomics checklist
- Review circulating supply, max supply, and fully diluted valuation.
- Check allocation to founders, insiders, treasury, and community.
- Look for unlock schedules that may create future selling pressure.
- Understand taxes, transfer fees, burns, reflections, or rebasing rules.
Community checklist
- Review whether conversation is organic or mostly price hype.
- Check if moderators answer hard questions clearly.
- Look for deleted criticism, fake engagement, or pressure to buy quickly.
- Confirm official links from multiple project-owned sources.
Contract checklist
- Confirm the contract address from official sources.
- Check whether source code is verified on a relevant explorer.
- Review owner permissions, fee controls, minting, pausing, and blacklists.
- Look for third-party audits, but do not treat audits as guarantees.
Liquidity checklist
- Check how much liquidity exists compared with trading volume.
- Review whether liquidity is locked, permanently removed, or held by insiders.
- Watch for very low liquidity, sudden removals, or suspicious pool changes.
- Remember that low liquidity can make selling difficult.
Holder distribution checklist
- Review top holder concentration and wallet relationships.
- Check whether a few wallets can strongly influence price or governance.
- Look for deployer, treasury, exchange, and liquidity-pool wallets.
- Treat unexplained concentrated supply as a serious research question.
